VIB Architecture carried out a project focused on connecting two existing buildings and creating a new central building.
To minimize the impact on the surroundings, Neurocampus features a highly compact volumetric design. Starting from a cubic form, each floor is articulated differently to interact with its environment.
The choice of blinds is crucial in this case, as they must meet the technical and functional requirements set by the research institutes, in accordance with sterile laboratory standards. The 95 interior blinds installed are 100 % opaque and made with Blackout fabric, making a significant difference. They have been installed in all laboratories facing the atrium. This is a technical PVC-free fabric that ensures optimal comfort and complete privacy.
